I was honoured to be invited to judge at the Brisbane Royal Show (EKKA) this year. The quality of horses on show was pleasing to see and the ASH Standard of Excellence was there for all to see. I have now judged horses or cattle at every Royal Show in Australia as well as Internationally. I always enjoyed competing and breeding animals that I could benchmark against the best in the industry at the State and Royal Shows as well as Nationals. I have been fortunate to exhibit horses that have won Championships at Branch, State, Royal and National levels and whilst I can't ride anymore due to debilitating back injuries I intend to continue breeding Champions for a few more years yet and judging whenever I am able to.
